{Marburger Farms} Antique Show in a Day

Does seeing white tents lining both sides of the road
make your heart go pitter patter?

If you are familiar with "antiquing",
then you know that those tents just may have something wonderful
that you've been looking for to add to your decor.
Yesterday, I ventured a 2+ hour drive to see the
Marburger Farms Antique Show.

This show is situated between Warrenton and Round Top.
I enjoy it because it's easily accessible, it's self-contained, and the vendors are top-notch with lots of variety...
and you can do it in a day!

I thought I'd take you on a little tour of some of my favorite booths
and their unique wares.
Maison de France Antiques
My eyes were first drawn to this display outside
of pieces forged with iron and wood.

This vendor also brings antiques from France that she shops for at flea markets there. Her husband does the iron work pieces. What a great team!

Maison de France Antiques
Don't you love the way she layered the mirrors?!

 More treasures from France!

Lovely carved panel with layers of chippy paint.
JHill Designs
Love this wreath by J Hill Designs.
Her booth is full of so many lovely vignettes.

This sweet display is actually sitting inside a wooden boat!
I'm loving the books tied with lacy ribbon and the ruffle pillow.

The rusty awning is so clever and the framed botanicals are very popular!
I saw lots of dress forms as well.
They are so cute to display jewelry, scarves, etc.

This tablescape is made with open books topped with a jar of flowers.
You know I had my eye on that rusty locker!!!
Artifacts
Lighting, lighting and more lighting! This vendor, Artifacts, had cool architectural elements as well. All unique and so very lovely!

I so love the art deco light fixture! Sconces anyone??
Artifacts
An old beauty of a chandy!!
The Old Red Lumber Yard
Ingenuity at its finest! Turbine and globe lights! Found a variety of great items here at The Old Red Lumber Yard's booth.

I kept seeing these large unusual bulbs, so I finally asked...
stadium lights!
I did it!

The layout at Marburger is easy to figure out (even for a directionally challenged person like myself) and the tents are marked clearly.

You've got one more day to shop til ya drop...tomorrow April 6, 2013!

Thanks to the vendors who were so kind to let me take pictures.
Go to my Facebook page where I will show you the links to
the vendors and their Facebook pages.

And, mark your calendar for the Fall show which is October 1-5, 2013.
